The talk
An immigrant's ambition is a different kind of fuel. It is not abstract. It does not need to be motivated. It does not get tired in the same places other ambitions do.
My parents got on a plane. They built a new life with the discipline of people who knew exactly what they had left behind. I was the second-grader trading Pokemon cards at recess. The fourth-grader running candy out of a backpack. The teenager flipping iPhones on Craigslist. The sixteen-year-old at Apple learning for the first time what it looked like when a company actually loved its people.
This talk is the story before it is a strategy. What I learned watching my parents build. What it cost them. What carries forward. Why immigrant ambition keeps showing up in the founders I respect, even the ones who did not literally cross a border. And what any audience can take from the operating system of people who arrived with nothing and refused to leave it that way.
